Newlife M6 meeting in Helsinki 14-15 June 2023

Newlife consortium outside Fujitsu Finland building

The Newlife consortium 6M meeting took place in Finland with Fujitsu as a gracious host of the two-day event on 14-15 June 2023 in sunny Helsinki.

Joni Hirviniemi from Fujitsu opened the meeting and presented the company and their magnificent building where our six-month consortium meeting was held, with about 50 participants joining from all over Europe.

In his inspirational speech, Tuomas Valtonen aptly referred to the Newlife project as "a 6-month-old fragile baby who needs to be monitored and supported." Well said!

Hanna Kivelä, Managing Director at Fujitsu gave a very motivational speech and mentioned that Fujitsu is very dedicated to the project.

The coordinator Hoa Pham from Philips presented the most recent developments in the Newlife project and was very grateful for the Spinverse team and work package leaders for their active collaboration in the project so far.
What's more, the Finnish consortium members Fujitsu, University of Turku and Kipuwex presented themselves at this energising meeting where likeminded actors are working together for the wellbeing of mothers and their unborn or newborn babies.

On the second meeting day, the Use Cases were presented in fruitful workshops.
