Day 3 of the Newlife M12 consortium meeting

The final morning of the Newlife M12 consortium meeting started with sunshine and workshop on data architecture and security by Joni Hirviniemi and Antero Närvä (Fujitsu). Sensor developers were providing lots of data, such as Tuomas Valtonen & Ismail Elnaggar (University of Turku - UTU), Raija Laukkanen (Polar), Basel Adams (FhG IZM) and Christian Jonasson (RISE) all actively contributed with post-its and markers in the session.

The day continued with an important topic on how to actively and efficiently communicate, disseminate and exploit all results already created and to be created in Newlife. Malin Tverin (Spinverse) and Bart van Rompaey (Philips Research) reminded of the importance of internal approval process and open access publications.

The meeting was ended with a look at the second year activities, especially the upcoming events during 2024.

The meeting was perfect, filled with fruitful discussions and collaboration. Heartfelt thanks to our gracious host Fraunhofer IZM for having us in Berlin!
